The practice of saying “Thank You God” packs a powerful punch in our desire to be in alignment with our Divine Nature. Giving the gift of Gratitude for every person place or thing in our lives allows us to transcend the facts and appearances delivered by our five senses so that we can connect with the sacred in all of them. It’s as if these three words give us the power to see beyond the packages that the various aspects of our lives are delivered in (the pretty ones and the ones that are not) to reveal the God presence within each. Living in Thanksgiving up levels us to connect soul-to-soul with the presents that we receive moment by moment, as we walk this path of holy enlightenment.

Another magical quality of the gift of Gratitude is that it is the great multiplier. When we are grateful for what we have received we activate the “yeast” of this spiritual practice and more flows to and through us. We can learn well from the master, Jesus the Christ who preceded feeding the 5,000 with just a few loaves and fishes by giving thanks to God. The power that was in Jesus the Christ is within us. We can use it by living in Thanks-living.

Today and every day I live in Thanks-living. I vow this day to give the gift of Gratitude for everything that comes into my life. I realize that by saying “Thank You God” I am putting myself in conscious awareness of the Presence of God within and all around me.

Have you noticed that when you want something your first thought is to look for it from someone or somewhere else? For example, if you feel like you need money to buy a desired item, do you immediately think about "getting" it from the bank, from pay for more hours you'd have to work or by asking for it from a friend or family member?

I challenge you to interrupt those lines of thinking.

Stop and remember this:

You are the Presence of God incarnate. All that God has is yours and is already within you. Your job is to remember that Truth and to relax and know that before you knew what it is that you desired, it has already been supplied by the Infinite Invisible that is the essence of your being.

In the realization that the Infinite Invisible is all that there is, I know that the Presence is my life and the life of everyone, everywhere.

I declare in these holy-day moments that we are celebrating the everlasting Oneness of all beings in God. As we realize that there is no separation, we avail ourselves of the Power of Passover and Easter that allow us to remember our freedom from the bondage of beliefs in any power over us, including the appearance of a mortal life. We accept that we are birthing a new awareness of our unlimited potential as infinite daughters and sons of the Most High.

In celebration of the Truth that this Spring Season carries the message of freedom, new birth and death to limiting ideas, I stand in gratitude for all of the gifts these holdays bring. Thank you God that we are remembering Who we are! In thanksgiving, I surrender this prayer into the Mind and Heart of God, knowing it is aready so. Amen.
