2009 Prayer for You

TUNE IN

As I turn within my being, leaving the world of effects behind for a moment, I tune in to the Presence of God, the Infinite Invisible. I consciously become one with this holy One, which is the essence and Truth of who I am, and I realize that it is impossible to be separate from my own Divinity. I know that this is the Truth for all beings everywhere, all the time.

Nestled in the palpable awareness of Sweet Spirit AS me, I look out with my inner eyes, listen with my inner ears, and feel with my inner senses to behold the Most High in, through, in back of and through all of Its creation.

I watch in wonder and claim that no matter what information my physical senses are relaying to me, there in the heart of each scene and person is a Holy Vibration - a radiating Wave of pure God, pulsating and calling me to put my attention there.

In 2009, I pray that we have the strength, courage and commitment to tune in to God…our Source Who is broadcasting Its loving presence all of the time. We are Divine beings blessed with the power to dial into Truth rather than let our awareness, emotions and thoughts be trapped in beliefs of scarcity, lack, worry, limitation and fear.

I know 2009 is the year that marks the shift in our evolution from believing in the illusion of the rule of greed; ego selfishness; there not being enough; competition and dominance by a few as the norm of our human condition. These are dissolved now and every time we consciously choose to tune in to sharing our resources and talents, and allowing ourselves to be used by God in co-operation, co-creation and communion with our brothers and sisters and our precious environment on planet Earth.

Let this be the year we break the addiction to the limitation beliefs our "little mind" believes to be true. Instead, let us use them as a reminder that we choose to hang out in the field of Spirit where we know that we are unmistakably living in Oneness with Infinite resources, possibilities and creative solutions; steeped in Love, Abundance, Peace, Harmony, Joy and Beauty.

Thank you God for the words spoken. They are true and I know they are active in our lives right now. And so it is. Amen.

Sassy & Ella's Manifestation Secret

Once they declared their intentions (Christmas Lists) to Santa, my grandchildren are busy imagining what it's going to be like to have that Nintendo Wii; new baby doll and Hannah Montana outfit. They are living "as if" it were already so...in full expectancy that their desires are being fulfilled. (They may even include Santa in their prayers at night.)

I believe we can learn so much about how to BELIEVE from our children!

My Grand Daughter's Victory Climb

Once on a summery weekend I was with my family. I asked my Mom, "Can we go up Smuggler?" "Of course we can." my Mom replied. When we went up it was so cool. I saw all kinds of dogs. I saw a puppy that was three months old. His name was Newman. It was his first time up Smuggler too. Near the top I saw my teacher, Mimi. I said, "Hi Mimi" she replied, "hi Sassy". When we got to the top of Smuggler the town looked liked it was for little ants crawling around. It was so amazing. When me and my Mom were going down I held onto my Mom's hand and slid while she pulled me down the ice & snow spots. You should try it, it is awsome. So I love to hike up Smuggler. It is a lot better than bumper cars. You should try it. It is fun! It was the first time I hiked up Smuggler IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!

Second Grade Writing Assignment

5 GIFTS On the Road!

Last month, 5 GIFTS travelled from San Diego to Phoenix, AZ to participate in the "Getting to Know You" Association of Unity Churches Convention. We were there as exhibitors to share the great news about our prosperity products and services. That's me under the baloons and in front of Rosetta Petunia, our fabulous pinata pig who was stuffed with "checks" that people filled out for more information. Vivianne Thomas, our Director of Order and I were joined by our Board members, Carolyn (who created the elements for our booth) and Ray Holder, and our Spanish "Cinco Regalos" Project Lead, Josie De Los Santos and her husband, Ricardo.

When people came to our booth they learned about:

We were warmly received and had many great conversations with Ministers and Licensed Unity Teachers who would like to bring 5 GIFTS to their communities. We also connected with Facilitators who are already teaching the Prosperity Course. A great time was had by all in "Getting to Know You." The Forgiveness Letter

Do the following journaling exercise which is designed to lead you down the Forgiveness path. Feel free to use this process for any and all persons, institutions, circumstances and, yes, even God, for whom you hold unforgiving attachments. It is recommended that you begin at the beginning, with your parents or childhood caregivers.

Use the prompts beneath each level of feeling to help you express them in depth…even if you think you are over all of those things by now. Also do not be surprised about not being able to reach a feeling of Love or Forgiveness (number 5) the first go ‘round. In addition, pay particular attention to the FEAR section for insights as to “why” you have held on to being un-forgiving. Remember this is a vehicle to off-load all the unexpressed and repressed feelings that while they may not be rational or make sense are nevertheless prohibiting you from fully living in the now. Take your time and let the feelings flow.

And now read the letter aloud to yourself. Pay attention to what has been said, and allow yourself to feel all of the feelings expressed…and the ones between the lines.

Once you have completed this part and have felt that you have plumbed the depths of your inner most feelings - and were able to reach a feeling of Forgiveness and Love -complete the exercise. In this second part, you will write a letter back to yourself from the person to whom you have written, imagining that they have just read your letter to them. Include in the response letter to you all those things you have ever wanted to hear from that person. Be sure to stay out of your head with this, and come from your heart (and theirs!). Be willing to be surprised at what comes back to you in this letter.

Rumors

Hello! It has been some time since my last posting. I have been travelling in form (to China) and in consciousness...to the writings of Joel Goldsmith.

Here' s some food for your Soul:

"There is hardly a day in which we do not accept a rumor about ourselves and about others. Usually, the rumor is not how good So-and-so is, but how sick, how sinful, how poor or how dead." Joel Goldsmith from the 1955 Infinite Way Letters

Our challenge as spiritual beings having a human experience is to look upon all conditions as "rumors" only...not facts or reality. If we do not accept the totals in our bank accounts, the well-being of our bodies or the moods of our loved ones as "the truth," we can avoid the consequences of believing what is delivered by our five senses; that is the acceptance of it into our consciousnesses. Once we take the condition in, we are sentencing ourselves to accepting a selfhood apart from God, that can only result in pain and suffering.

When we immediately dismiss the appearance as simply a "rumor" we use this opportunity to affirm that there is only on Power, God; one Presence, God; one Law, God. By staying in conscious Oneness in God, we become the instruments through which the Divine pours forth Its grace (abundance, wholeness, love) through us into the world.

I know of no more powerful way to live the abundant life we are here to live than to accept all appearances and conditions in our 3-D world as "rumors" and keep our eyes staid on the Infinite Source of all good, God.

Spiritual Practices and Wealth

What do spiritual practices have to do with being wealthy?

The Truth is that if we are filling our days with the effort it takes to "make a living," "bring home the bacon," or "protect the nest egg," we have put more trust in the external world than in the rich realm of all possibilities that is always available to us. What if it were really true that ALL THAT WE NEED IS WITHIN US? What if our job is not to "get" but to reveal?

Spiritual practices such as prayer, meditation, expressing gratitude, forgiving, listening for the desires of our heart, sharing and trust are vehicles that allow us to release the Abundant Splendor of God that is awaiting expression through us. When developed, these instruments empower us to know that the world of effects is powered by our internal work. Our spiritual practices open the way for all of the riches of Spirit to come into manifestation.

Musings about "The Secret" and the Law of Attraction

It is wonderful to witness the interest in the metaphysical teachings of the Law of Attraction that is sweeping the country. It is a joy to witness people realizing that they have a way to move out of victim hood and into directing their life experiences.

What inspires me to write here is that the emphasis in "The Secret" message is on a mental Law that can bring one material demonstrations. "The Secret" focuses on technique and results. It fails to address the spiritual aspect of the way the Universe works, for the most part. What is omitted is that we all have a Power that is within us, that when we align with It will bring into our experience all that we could possibly imagine, without us using any effort at all. Our only job is to prepare our consciousness to receive that which is already ours because we are the "inheritors of the Kingdom" and it is the Father/Mother God's good pleasure to give it to us.

The spiritual work to prepare our consciousness to experience the abundance of God is touched on and focus on in the 5 GIFTS for an Abundant Life work. That is, rather than working on defining our desires, we want to work on being Grateful for what we already have; set Intentions that arise from the desire of our Hearts; practice Forgiveness to clear ourselves of any attachment to the past; Trust that what we desire is already ours and Share from the bounty of supply that pours forth from us.

THANKS-LIVING

The practice of saying “Thank You God” packs a powerful punch in our desire to be in alignment with our Divine Nature. Giving the gift of Gratitude for every person place or thing in our lives allows us to transcend the facts and appearances delivered by our five senses so that we can connect with the sacred in all of them. It’s as if these three words give us the power to see beyond the packages that the various aspects of our lives are delivered in (the pretty ones and the ones that are not) to reveal the God presence within each. Living in Thanksgiving up levels us to connect soul-to-soul with the presents that we receive moment by moment, as we walk this path of holy enlightenment.

Another magical quality of the gift of Gratitude is that it is the great multiplier. When we are grateful for what we have received we activate the “yeast” of this spiritual practice and more flows to and through us. We can learn well from the master, Jesus the Christ who preceded feeding the 5,000 with just a few loaves and fishes by giving thanks to God. The power that was in Jesus the Christ is within us. We can use it by living in Thanks-living.

Today and every day I live in Thanks-living. I vow this day to give the gift of Gratitude for everything that comes into my life. I realize that by saying “Thank You God” I am putting myself in conscious awareness of the Presence of God within and all around me.

All That We Need is Within Us

Have you noticed that when you want something your first thought is to look for it from someone or somewhere else? For example, if you feel like you need money to buy a desired item, do you immediately think about "getting" it from the bank, from pay for more hours you'd have to work or by asking for it from a friend or family member?

I challenge you to interrupt those lines of thinking.

Stop and remember this:

You are the Presence of God incarnate. All that God has is yours and is already within you. Your job is to remember that Truth and to relax and know that before you knew what it is that you desired, it has already been supplied by the Infinite Invisible that is the essence of your being.

An Easter/Passover Prayer for You

In the realization that the Infinite Invisible is all that there is, I know that the Presence is my life and the life of everyone, everywhere.

I declare in these holy-day moments that we are celebrating the everlasting Oneness of all beings in God. As we realize that there is no separation, we avail ourselves of the Power of Passover and Easter that allow us to remember our freedom from the bondage of beliefs in any power over us, including the appearance of a mortal life. We accept that we are birthing a new awareness of our unlimited potential as infinite daughters and sons of the Most High.

In celebration of the Truth that this Spring Season carries the message of freedom, new birth and death to limiting ideas, I stand in gratitude for all of the gifts these holdays bring. Thank you God that we are remembering Who we are! In thanksgiving, I surrender this prayer into the Mind and Heart of God, knowing it is aready so. Amen.
