TITHING - SHARING FROM THE OVERFLOW

Tithing is the practice of sharing a portion of what you have received in the form of money with a person or place where you feel you have been spiritually nourished or inspired. While the amount you offer certainly will benefit the receiver of your tithe, the true blessing of this gift remains with you. You not only reap the benefit that comes from being a giver, you are participating in the universal law of circulation that says “as you give, so do you receive.”

Tithing 10% of your income as a practice of gratitude for what you have received will increase the 90% you have left. As you direct a portion of your money to those people or places where you have felt inspired and uplifted, in thanksgiving for the money that has been directed your way, you can live in the expectancy that as you participate in circulating that money the rest will expand to meet your needs and more.
